Letter for myself

Updated: Nov 12

It's important to remember it as many times as necessary

My dear,

You must remember — you can.

The heaviness you sometimes feel does not belong to your higher self; it is born from ancient memories, woven into the atoms of your being. Allow those feelings a moment to move through you, but do not grant them dominion. Do not let them convince you that they are the truth. Your true reality is the one you chose the day you began to heal — the one you continue to choose, now and always.

Your reality is kindness. It is patience. It is the gentle smile and the soft voice. You are content with every inch of your existence, and that quiet joy shines through your eyes and your tone. No one can take away your light or the sacred work you have done — unless you permit it.

Guard yourself tenderly. Watch over the echoes of your old selves; they may come to reclaim your attention, believing they still have the right to rule your mind. Place your fingertips between your brows, press upon the bones above your eyes, and feel the ache — that ancient anger stored within your body. Release it. Forgive yourself. Care for yourself even more deeply.

Speak with yourself throughout the day. Ask how you are, and what you need — every single day of your life. Listen to yourself. Advise yourself when necessary. Give yourself what you long for when necessary. Teach yourself, and correct yourself with love when necessary.

Remember always that you are a conscious being. Do not fall asleep. Remain vigilant until awareness flows through your veins like light. Speak your truth with care and reverence for others. Stay awake, so that your light may never dim.

Beyond you lies chaos — but within, peace reigns. Outside, the world may wish to consume you, yet it cannot enter if it does not find you afraid. Outside, they may try to deceive you, but they cannot succeed if they do not see your doubt. Those “outsiders” — your fears, your traumas, your thoughts — live beyond the gate of your higher self. They want to eat hastily your light because they were thought to live in darkness, they were shaped in darkness and still believe that is where they belong. They do not yet know that life in the light is possible, and infinitely better.

Beware of them with compassion, for they, too, are fragments of you — lost and yearning to return home. But be firm because they believe they have rights to claim the throne of your attention. Take care, always.

Remember: you are smiles and bliss. You are awareness itself — no confusion, no fear. You are love incarnate. You are, and have always been, so much more. You are in the process of remembering that.

Seek yourself through meditation and breath. Pursue nature. Return to yourself. Return to God.

With all my Love

Me
